Kreativ Blogger Award...WOW!~!

So, just when I thought no one ever paid attention to me or my blog (I truly use it for random rambling and to show MOM my projects - same as when I was 5)...I get the nicest post from one of the most creative people I know!!!! Ted, thank you so very much for such a "SWEET" gesture. (He liked my Grande Altered Hershey Bars)

I feel like I just won the academy awards or something...LOL... I am aww struck...(and that doesn't happen every day!!!!!)...I'd like to thank.....(ok ok just a joke...I will get on with it here...)

So now, I think I am supposed to list seven (7) of my favorite things/people:

1 - God

2 - My family...all of them...I love them so much.

3 - My Friends, but especially my BFF & BSF

4 - Sunshine

5 - Spare time (it is so precious and I don't seem to get much of it - EVER)

7 - Margaritas...oh yeah, and chocolate. :)

"2009" Challenge - Cricut Message Board

This is a card I created as a challenge with Red Hot Cricut Peppers.

Fonts are: Cuttin' Up and Plantin Schoolbook

Stamps: I used 2 (with my handy Stampamajig - LOVE THAT THING!) Studio G (Bucket and Happy New Year) Stampin' Up (champagne glasses)

Embellishments: Of course, glitter, cystal effects, stampin up water color pencils and dimensionals...

Jammies!!!

First off, let me start by saying that I bought a sewing machine from my nieces MIL about 2 years ago and in the closet it has sat. I have NEVER sewn ANYTHING and had a heck of a time threading the machine when I finally did take it out a few days ago!
So...a kind soul sent me instructions on how to make jammies for my E a few weeks ago. I printed them out tonight and........well, I couldn't make heads or tails out of them. LOL...not really a direction follower here....so I tossed the instructions and below is what I came up with...(even used a fancy zig zag stitch on the bottom...lol...just don't turn it inside out as it is pretty ugly...) I found the CUTE material at J's on clearance and decided that I was going to tackle jammies for friends for their E's for Christmas...I think I was aiming too high tho - there is NO WAY I will get the number done that I want to get done. I will certainly try though!!!!!

Stampin' Up! retired set - Totally Cool - I FINALLY FOUND IT!!

I had been looking for this retired stamp set for sooo long! I just love it. Well, I finally found it on ebay and received it the day before BFF's birthday...

Here are the 2 cards I made - one with blonde hair (BFF) and then another with brown...most of my other friends are brunette. :)

PS - now I am looking for the retired set, "Unfrogettable" - it is sooo stinkin' cute!!! MUST HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Altered "grande" Hershey Bars

These are great little holiday gifts for classmates, neighbors and co-workers. Very inexpensive as Safeway and QFC both have the big Hershey, Symphony and Cookies and Cream chocolate bars on sale right now for $1 a piece. :) Enjoy!

Nite Owl Recipe SWAP!!

I recently did a recipe SWAP with the Nite Owls on the Cricut MB. I kinda got bored with making 16 of the SAME exact thing, so I kinda made a few different ones...lol (the rules were pretty laxed)

Last Weekends Crop!!

Last weekend, I had the BEST time at my very first overnight crop. :) My BSF invited me with about 20 other ladies and we stayed Friday night through Sunday afternoon...
As you can see by my FULL truck - we had enough supplies........ (it was a little embarrasing)


To the new friends that I made while I was there - THANK YOU!! You are an inspiration and I feel very privileged to to be able to call you all my friends! Thanks Cie for taking me........

Another Altered Composition Notebook and Matching Bookmark

I have found that these are GREAT gifts for kids...ESPECIALLY when their names are unique or spelled unique. I used my Cricut Expression machine and the font cart All Mixed Up on this one...Triniti loves pigs so I used a Cuttlekids die in my Cuttlebug for that one....fun fun! Enjoy!
